Question: I seem to have a feeling under my left armpit area and slightly towards my back. It feels like air bubbles. Odd and slightly worrying.

Yes this is odd and definitely worrying.
I would like to know a few details for me to assist you better:
- Since when is this feeling?
- Have you been given any injections or has some intra-venous treatment on left upper limb?
- Any coughing or so?
- If your press on the affected area, do you get a crepitus feeling (like feeling of air bubbles or crunching of paper)?

Well I have had the sensation for a couple of days. It is not too inconvenient, but I am still a little concerned. I was wondering whether it might have something to do with reflux as I have had a lot of wind recently.
I have had no recent injections in that area of my body.
I have just pressed on that area but I have no feeling of what you have described.
It actually feels like a mini-version of a gurgling or a small rumbling sensation.
I have not had any associated symptoms in this area.
Recent medical history includes a full knee replacement in XXXXXXX 2013 and perineal urethrostomy in November 2014 performed by Professor XXXXXXX at University College Hospital, London
