Question: Good morning doctor
I am XXXX has gone through cabg in 2009. In the month of feb 15 i had shoulder pain so i went to cardiologist he prescribe me cilacar t twice a day along with met xl 50 twice a day .Now I am suffering fron legs muscle pain which cause me in improper walking. Please guide me

you have significant leg cramps.in your case there may be any of following factors responsible
1.diabetes mellitus,if not well controlled ,may be responsible for it.
2.diabetic neuropathy ,may also produce such symptoms.you should take vit.B12 supplement along with good. control of sugar.
your HBA1C must remain below 7%
3.statin I.e. unistar may cause muscle cramps.so please check your s.CPK level to judge effect of medicine on muscle.
