Suggest Remedy For Pain And Swelling In Foot After Taking A Tetanus Shot

Question: Step nail on wednesdayI started abtibioticks and got tetanus shot sunday
foot is much swollen still and it feels pressured . I have antibioticks till tomorrow.Just wondering is it normal still be this much of pain?
As cant put weight on it bcase immediate pain .
Since started taking abtibioticks pain has gone smaller and now only big on foot area but still need crutches. Leg is still touch sensitive and stiff

I can understand your concern. It is normal to be in pain after a nail injury and it is less than a week's duration. It will take some more days to settle.
Keep your foot elevated by keeping pillows underneath, go for hot fermentation twice and thrice in a day. Besides this in such cases I also suggest my patients to take anti inflammatory medicines like serratiopeptidase and diclofenac combination as they will help in reducing pain and swelling.
These are prescription medicines and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.

So as started antibioticks sunday pain shud ease by tomorrow same time my antibioticks finish.
What means hot fermentation? Put feet in hot water?

So you have started the antibiotics on sunday. Its been 3 days only. It will take some time.
Hot foamentation means you have to use hot water bottle on the affected foot and leg twice and thrice in a day. No need to put the feet in hot water.

Read from somwhere that is sypmtom of bone infection. I cant say it feel bit same even i know havent broke eny bones. Pain is only now at foot and its changed to bit tingly.
