Suggest Remedy For Pain Due To Frozen Shoulder
Yes, you can stop paracetamol.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Yes, paracetamol is not necessary, and was being given only for pain. As there is no pain or fever, it can be stopped.
2. OCID can be used in place of rantac. Even though both are different chemically, at the end of the day, similar action. If you do not have gastritis, or you have stopped paracetamol, OCID/ rantac may not be necessary. If continued, no complications though.
3. Calf exercises can help in building up the calf muscles. Before exercising, stretching of calf muscles is essential. Trying to stand on toes is the best exercise for calf muscles. Initially, in seated position and then in alternate legs in standing position and later on, as it builds, single leg standing and trying to stand on toes. Need to do it slowly, as much as possible.
4. 20 minutes brisk walking is always helpful. It helps in a good cardiac workout too. However, calf specific muscle training, 5 minutes daily will help in strengthening it.
Protein rich diet (at least 1g/kg body weight of protein) to help in building muscles will help. Any high heeled footwear needs to be avoided.
Continue with shoulder mobilization exercises.
Hope it helps.
