Suggest Remedy For Pain In Abdomen, Groin And Testicles

Question: I have a dull ache on the lower left side of my abdomen and groin and left testicle. Sometimes it feels like lower back pain as we'll. It has been going on for about 4 or 5 days. It is especially noticeable when I am sitting. I currently take pantoloc for my GI issues. What could be the problem?

Hi XXXXX,

The dull ache you are feeling on the lower left side of your abdomen and groin and testicles are indicative for possible:
- urinary tract infection (UTI)
- genital infection

I advise to run the following test to determine the right cause:
- urine analysis
- abdominal/genital ultrasound
- if any discharge from your genitalia, should culture the discharge for pathologic bacteria/candida.

Depending on the tests results, specific treatment will be prescribed.

You should run those tests to start proper treatment as soon as possible (you might need a course of oral antibiotic).
Meanwhile I advise to:
- increase water intake
- take antacids (magnesium citrate) to stabilize urine pH
- take herbal tea for UTI and genital problems (containing uva-ursi, cranberry, etc.)
