Suggest Remedy For Pain In Clitoris And Thick Vaginal Discharge After Sexual Activity

Question: I have been experiencing h what I thought was UTI symptoms following sexual activity, oral specifically. I went to OBGYN and did not have a UTI or Yeast, but I did have BV so they gave me the 3 day vagina treatment and did a test for ureaplasma. She prescribed macrobid and said to take 1 following intercourse until the ureaplasma test came back. The twst was positive so they gave me a 7 day dose of Cipro. My partner also took a 7 day dose of Cipro, but we were sexually active during his last 2 days of treatment. Then I had some white thick discharge and the uti like symptoms got worse so I figured all the antibiotics gave me a yeast infection. So, I treated myself with a 1 day OTC medicine, which provided the most relief and pain was basically gone until we did oral sex a couple days ago. Now I am in pain again but the most painful part is my clitoris, not urethra, although I still have painful urination and urgency and abdominal discomfort. My OBGYN is at a loss for what is going on. They want to retest for ureaplasma before moving forward. This has been ongoing for over a month. The pain comes and goes and can get VERY painful I n my clitoris. When I push on it the pain subsides. I also was feeling clitoral spasms when I pee and my doc mentioned something about bladder spasms following uti treatment, so I did some research and took 1 Diazepam tablet, which brought complete relief unail the next day, which was yesterday. So, I started a 3 day yeast treatment last night, still no relief yet. I'm at a loss and so is by OBGYN. Any other possibilities of what is going on? They did a full Std panel and everything came back good.

Precautions advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, I understand your health issue.
It is most probably due to yeast infection which got worse because of ciprofloxacin intake, take a note of the following -
- wear a cotton based underwear and change it daily
- use condom while having sex
- put tablet clotrimazole 100 mg inside your vagina daily at night for 6 nights
- wash perineal region with vWash liquid after bath
- apply candid - B ointment twice a day for 7 days
- both you and your partner take tablet tinidazole twice a day for 7 days
- get your blood sugar levels checked.
Discuss the above treatment with your gynecologist and take a prescription for the same.
All the best.

can you provide more information about the medications you suggested and if they are OTC or if I need a prescription?
Brief Answer:
Prescription drugs
Detailed Answer:
These are specific antibiotics and are available on prescription so you will need to visit your gynecologist for the same.
Also once treated you should refrain from unprotected sexual activity for at least 15 days.
Take care
