Suggest Remedy For Pain In Shoulder After Recovery From Cough

Question: Sir
I had seviour cold 20 days back and it came down and caugh was alone there and now its better and my family doctor and pulmologist said my lung is clear and they gave me tab for my nasal drip and i dint go for chest x ray. My worry all will it b cancer. No other aymptoms of cancer. Mild pain on left back shoulder is there and it pricks my mind will it b bcs of cancer in lungs.

I have read your queries , seen your report , and understand your concern.

As per your clinical history it appears that you had upper respiratory track infection (URTI) 20 days back followed by increase post nasal drip (PND) . PND causes cough .

In my opinion , it is not likely to be cancer . Lung cancer will not present like this , hence no need to worry about it .

For mild pain on left back shoulder , i would advice use anti inflammatory paracetamol .

You will get relief .

Realy thanks and sorry tondisturb u. Do u say clear lungs in steatasocopy will not have a cancer. I have attached my throat photo taken 3 days back. My sholder pain below neck bothers me more. I am a non smoker and i have sevical spintalisis too .

Intermittent neck and shoulder pain is most common symptoms of Cervical Spondylosis . I would advice consult orthopedic specialist for Cervical Spondylosis .

Clear lungs with no stridor , wheeze , Crackles & rhonchi on stethoscope auscultation decrease possibility of lung cancer . Chest X-ray will give more information about respiratory system .

According to your clinical history , age & healthy habit make possibility of lung cancer less likely .

I have taken tab for nasal drip its not stopping and caugh mild is there. It increases my fear more .

Use warm salt water gargle twice daily to thin nasal drip .

I would advice , warm salt water gargle twice daily to thin nasal drip & tab like allegra M or Xyzal M for nasal drip .

You will need prescription for drug .

You will get relief .

Hi Dr. My ent dr gave me Asteride 6 mg 1-0-1 ,Kino 200 1-0-1 ,Monkezin 0-0-1 and cofstop 5ml 2 time. But no improvement in nasal drip. Caugh is better. No disturbance in night. Only i day i feel bad some timr caugh. Pls help to recover .

In my opinion , your ENT doctor given proper treatment plan for post nasal drip .Give some time for medications to act . Start warm salt water gargle twice daily & use saline nasal rinse twice daily to get relief.

If you will not get relief within 7 days then you will need Combination Steroid nasal spray with antihistamine 2 puff each nostril twice daily like duonase nasal spray.

You will get relief .
