Suggest Remedy For Persistent Vertigo And Blurred Vision
Mostly it is vertigo. Do read the detailed answer
Detailed Answer:
Hello , I am Dr. Mody and I would be addressing your concern.
As I understand from the information given by you.
The symptoms is only of dizziness ans shaky feeling
Important medical event is a dental surgery
And you have NO Co morbid conditions like hypertension, diabetes or any heart issue.
Now in all probability it can still be due to transient balance problem in the middle/ internal ear causing vertigo like sensation
If you have no other Co complaints.
OTC medication like Vertin (16mg) thrice a day for 4-5 day is suggested . If the symptoms resolve or decrease in a day it would be vertigo and nothing to worry for the same
Other possibility.
2) As you are getting used to denture inadvently your appetite would have decreased a lot, causing weakness and the symptoms you describe. A good diet is advised
3) checking your blood pressure as higher /lower pressure than before may cause such symptoms.
As such dental procedure directly will not cause giddiness,l as there is no fever, local pain, swelling, discharge at the surgical site.however general recovery from a major procedure at your age may take some time, and things should be good in 1-2 weeks
The rarer cause like arrhythmia (if you have heart palpitations, chest pain) , mini- stroke like event (if any one side weakness of body, change in speech) , however in your case these seem very care considering no major risk factors are present.
If symptoms persist an examination by a local doctor is advised.
You may give me some more details so I can narrow down upon a diagnosis and help you better.
