Suggest Remedy For Problem In Urination After Removal Of Foley Catheter

Question: removed foley catheter after three months. couldn't pee. Using self 14Fr inserted catheters to empty bladder every six hours. Found if I delay this catheter until bladder contains 1200 ml, I can urinate 75ml/hr (my base rate). Is it safe to allow bladder to be this full in order to relearn to urinate normally?

Yes it is safe but these 1200ml should be upper limit which is allowed and try to use this method as short as possible since in longer cases it may lead to hydronephrosis. Wish you good health. Feel free to ask. Regards
