No evidence of scarring, hydronephrosis or calculi. Ureters are not dilated. urinary bladder does not reveal any intrinsic lesion. Portal vein is dilated measuring 15.3 cm Volume flow 15mm 11mm respectively. There is renalisation of paraumbical vein. Extensive collaterals are seen in abdominal wall, gastro-esophageal, splenic hilum and gall bladder wall (Comments: 1. Coarse echotexture of liver. 2. splenomegaly with tiny granulomas. 3.recanalized vein. 4. extensive collaterals My question is what should be my ideal diet? Can liver cells will be restored? Hi,

Diet is the last thing we should discuss. The first question is: why do you have a liver cirrhosis, especially a non-alcoholic one!? You don’t get a liver cirrhosis just like that. You must either have some sort of chronic hepatitis (viral or auto-immune) or a condition called NASH. To save what is left of the functioning parts of your liver one needs to know the underlying condition! So your doctors have work to do. Why don’t they do it?

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
