Suggest Remedy For Redness, Irritation And Burning Sensation In Penile Shaft
Question: Hi I have been have redness and irritation at the base of penis near my pubes. This has been going on for a couple days now and I have noticed white creases/ thick lines that appear to be raised. Any Ideas what this could be? Infection? Herpes?
Background:
-unprotected sex 6 weeks ago,
-tested for stds 3 weeks after, all negative,
-had what thought was jock itch for past month in creases of crotch
-itch/burning has moved to upper pube area and redness around base of penis appeared along with white lines (shown in picture)
-itching and burning in upper pubic area (near waist band), and some internal pain in the upper pubic region
- have trimmed hair recently, do not know if this relevant
-also recently have noticed tiny bump on penis shaft, not painful or red,

Brief Answer:
Fungal infection
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Health care magic.
I have gone through the query and have checked the attachments. You probably have a fungal infection. It is definitely not herpes. Apply candid (clotrimazole) lotion and/or powder over the affected area. Keep the area clean and do y. It should soon be OK.
