Suggest Remedy For Severe Cramps And Concussion

may use ibuprofen
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
I understand the issue well. The first diagnosis that we always consider in women with severe menstrual cramping is pregnancy. So please see if she has any factor that may predispose her to pregnancy like a history of sexual contact etc. I do understand that this is a bit embarassing but it is a part of the routine evaluation protocol.
If pregnancy is not suspected and if she is having severe menstrual cramps, she may take ibuprofen along with an antacid or cold milk to relieve the pain. Cold compresses on lower abdomen also help.
If the cramps are severe, it is better to see a doctor and get her evaluated later for any other reason like endometriosis or a polyp which are relatively common conditions.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Thanks for using HCM.
