Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Leg After A Knee Replacement Surgery

Question: I have a partial knee replacement surgery on 28 October. (Oxford). Every thing was great until about 6 days ago whe I started to get significant pain on the inside of the leg and I know have difficulty walking and had to go back to using a cane. Should I be worried. The lain when I try to walk is excruciating at times and I actually have difficulty taking the first few steps

The appearance of sudden pain almost 6 weeks after surgery can be due to a local injury or a stress fracture. It can also be due to slight mal-alignment of the implant.
The exact cause can be detected only after a direct examination and an X-ray. It is best to avoid all the painful activities and weight bearing on the knee. Do wait till your appointment and continue with the pain killer that you are taking.
