Suggest Remedy For Severe Vaginal Bleeding When Diagnosed With Endometrial Hyperplasia

Question: hi, my mom is diabetic n hypertensive n heart patient too from 7 years. she is 65 years of age. she was diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia 5 years ago n now she complains of vaginal dischrge, heavy bleeding n a constant pain in lower abdomen. Is anaesthesia general is safe in her case? what about partial anesthesia? but i am not sure she can tolerate injection in the spine. is there any other option? what diagnostic tests we should perform to confirm whether from 5 yrs this endometrial hyperplasia has not changed into cancer? is hysterectomy preferable for her? she is on insulin n heart medications.
Brief Answer:
immediate medical care
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns about your mother.
She is expereincing vvaginal bleeding and has a history of endometrial hyperplasia. I agree with you that her hyperplasia may have transitioned into cancer. She needs to be seen ASAP to discover the cause of her bleeding and to stop the bleeding. The usual treatment will be hysterectomy
I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again with your health care questions

what are the diagnostic tests for that?
Brief Answer:
endometrial biopsy
Detailed Answer:
The test to determine if she has endometrial cancer is to have another endometrial biopsy. She can have other testing done like CT scans and ultrasounds but the only true way to Dx is with a biopsy or removal of the uterus and a full microscopic evaluation of the uterine lining
Again I recommend that she be seen as soon as possible to determine the cause of her bleeding
