Suggest Remedy For Swelling In Uvula
Question: i woke up with a swollen uvula i am on BactrimDS for another condition so i just have taken an extra one
Brief Answer:
How much of Bactrim are you on?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.
You probably do not need antibiotics for this. I will like to know the dosage of your bactrim and what i was prescribed for. However, bactrim is not commonly used drug for sore throat. I will not prescribe nay additional drug at this time because I strongly feel this is not necessary at this time unless something else comes up.
I hope to hear from you and do wish you well. If need be, feel free to ask for more information and clarifications. I wish you well.

my dosage of BactrimDS is bid for an on going battle with MRSA …but i have never had this before?
Brief Answer:
I will say take anti-inflammatories only for now!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up precision.
I will not recommend any other antibiotics at this time. I will recommend that you take Ibuprofen and Tylenol only to reduce the inflammation and control pain. Unless this doesn't resolve spontaneously, there is no need for further specific attention.
