Suggest Remedy For Swelling On Feet And Ankles When Suffering From Kidney Failure

We phoned the doctor's office on Thursday to ask about the swelling and rash. Called again on Friday. The nurse thought it might be his medication allopurinol for the swelling. Said the rash was a dermatology issue. Online check shows both rash and swelling could be med, but so could kindey failure. Now today he has the bruising. I am unsure as to whether this could be clot or some other issue that needs to be seen now.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
thank you for the answers and the images. I have gone through them and were of great help. He most probably is suffering from Pruritis. If i were his treating doctor then i would have advised following things:
- fexofenadine (antihistamine suitable in renal failure) one at night for 5 days
- topical steroid ointment: apply over the rash.
Hopefully improvement will occur in 2-3 days BUT if condition remains same or aggravates then visit hospital and get an appointment for a "Consultant Dermatologist" for further workup.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
