Question: I was on this med, Glyxambr 10 mg/5mg, for roughly 30 days, with swollen chapped lips, mouth swollen & white tongue. I had first symptoms at 4 days but tried to work thru it-30 days later I called MD, and was told to stop it & return to Victoza. Slowly cleared up but the tip of my tongue & tingling lips still persist-6 days. What can I do? I have reaction to eggplant also. Mary XXXXXXX YYYY@YYYY

Brief Answer:
Hypoglycemia should be ruled out. Blood sugar need to checked.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.
The symptom that you experienced may be related to one of the component of the tablet glyxambr. These symptoms will subside by 7 to 10 days of stoppage and I'd persists, I would suggest you to see consulting physician for examination.

I also advice you to report to your health care provider immediately, in case of any adverse effect when a drug is prescribed.

The present symptom that you have mentioned that is, tingling sensation in tip of the tongue and lips, is noted in case of hypoglycemia. I would suggest you to get you blood sugar checked and I advice you to see the physician with the report for examination and alteration of dosages if required.

Yet , again I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,
