Suggest Remedy For Urge To Urinate Along With Passing Of Small Volume Of Urine

Question: Age 29 male..I have a urinary problem from the past 3 to 4 years...... My urethra disturbs me every time and feels like urinating all the time.... Urine flow is good and bad sometimes and I need to give much pressure to do ... Dribbling at the end of urination is very common. And not much quantity of urine as it goes on... The moment I urinate.... My urethra will start the discomfort and feels like urine is left around the urethra and make me wanna go urinate again and again and this continues through out the day and night.......... I have consulted many doctors in course of time but cant exactly figured it out the main causes til now...... Almost all test are negatives no stones ultrasound is fine IVP IS fine etc etc... Frankly medical doctors medicine s did not help my conditions much at all... I have been given many antibiotics etc etc but din help me much... So I shifted to herbal and at times it gives me relieve after some months or so..... And I was almost completlty out of trouble.... But this urinr problem seems never ending to me and use to comes up out of no where and use to trouble me again and again... At times it use to get alright itself after half day one day or two days.... Without any treatment...... But again at the moment am in trouble again as it has come back to me and it has been few days now am suffering again.... I just wanna completely get rid out of this problem sooner or later and live a happy life.. Ty. .... So I kindly seek your valuable advice and suggestion and also like to know what could be the reason behind this un cureable problem.. Ty

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have urge to pass urine very frequently and pass very small quantity of urine and all the basic and standard tests done are inconclusive to establish the cause of your problem .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Have you ever done Urodynaemic study of bladder ?

After going through the threads of discussion with other panelist on this forum and list and negative results of the tests done so far I think your symptoms may be likely to be due to what is called as Over Active Bladder syndrome .

Normally when bladder is being filled with urine one gets sensation to empty the bladder when bladder gets filled up with 250-300 ml of urine .But in this condition
(OAB) there are involuntary contraction of bladder of small magnitude even after it is filled with small quantity of urine (25-30ml) that results into sensation of urge to pass urine and passing small amount of urine .

Please take anti muscuranic drugs like Solifenacin or Darifenacin once daily and observe for any improvement which will be noticed after taking medication for a week.

What about the urethral discomfort every now and then after each urination I feel like something is stuck or urine is stuck in my towards tip of urethra which is really annoying and disturbing and it will gradually keep me going for urination every one and then
I don't think it will be an OVB as I can hold the urine for quite long and its not a sudden urge to urine. But I fell like something is stuck within my tip of urerhra which is very disturbing and slowly and gradually it will let me keep going to bathroom frequently with little little quantity

It could be due to inflammed urethra or Urethral Diverticulum..

Thanks for follow up.

Since your Cystoscopic examination has not revealed any stricture or any abnormality I suspect it could be due to what is called as Urethral Diverticulum.

This can be confirmed only by radiological test called double-balloon positive-pressure Urethrography (PPU) and Voiding cystourethrography (VCUG), with Urodynaemic study.

Please go ahead and get it done ,somehow or other we need to establish diagnosis by doing many investigation by exclusion criteria till we find the cause of your problem .

So what probably would be my overall condition would be due do??? I v a weak flow and dribbling at every urination too

sice all the investigations carried out so far have not revealed any cause for your symptoms .I would label it as functional but before it is labeled to be functional I would suggest you to do Voiding Cystourethrography to rule out Urethral Diverticulum.
