Suggest Remedy For Urinary Hesitancy And Retention

Question: I have been taking Libotryp xl 25 and Nexito 10 for over 15 years. I am having severe urine retention in bladder and hesitancy in passing of urine . though my prostate weighs only 22 gms ultrasound shows median lobe projecting into bladder >One Urolgist has advised me TURP, the other urologist says that I am possibly suffering from spasm and prescribed antispasmodic.
I am aware that Libotryp produces urine retention and difficulty in passing urine.
Pl advise me whether my bladder related to prolonged use of Libotryp. If yes , how can I discontinue this medicine?

As an Urologist, let me advise you, try medical treatment for prostate gland first.
The best treatment to start with is, Alfuzosin-Dutasteride combination at bedtime.
You will have good relief in few days.
Try it and give your feedback.
You should check your urine routine and culture, creatinine, sugar,PSA, and flow rate,with ultrasound scan of abdomen and TRUS(trans rectal ultrasound scan).
