Suggest Remedy To Ease Chest Pressure Due To Acid Reflux
Question: What else can I do to ease the chest pressure from my reflux? I take prilosec daily, drink tons of water, eat bland, stop eating 4 hours before bed. Still have the lingering pressure that comes and goes. I have an appt with my cardiologist in 3 weeks. What can I do until then?
Brief Answer:
Take Prisolec twice daily, add domperidone &ranitidine...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am sorry for the situation you are in.
First, I need to know the dosage of Prisolec. I advise to take it twice daily.
Next, I also advise to start taking domperidone and ranitidine to ease your symptoms.
It is good that you are also making some changes in your diet and lifestyle regimen.
I would add to:
- avoid eating too much at a meal. Instead, should eat often, small portions and chew up slowly
- not to lay down immediately after eating
Hope it helped!

Ok I will make sure to take it when I wake up and before bed.
In terms of the chest pain, it is localized in the left pectoral area. Sometimes it feels like I have food stuck in there or something. It doesn't feel like my heart itself hurts but it is in that area.
