Suggest Remedy To Stop Menstrual Bleeding

Question: hi. i am 35 years old and have been bleeding since 23 days. can i take pause tablet to stop bleeding? what shall be the dose. this is the second time i am experiencing this, it happened in November last year too.

I went through your query and understood your concerns.

There are so many causes for abnormal uterine bleeding, most common are fibroid, PCOD and hormonal imbalance.

For present bleeding you can take pause medication 500 mg once a day for not more than 4 days till bleeding stops, which stops bleeding with in 4 days, but better to get examined by a doctor before taking medication.

So you should consult a gynecologist and get your endometrial biopsy test and ultrasound done because your bleeding is irregular. You should simultaneously test for thyroid profile, prolactin level and haemogram also.
You can go for minera IUCD after consulting your gynecologist.
