Detailed Answer:
hello

Thank You for contacting HCM. My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. there are a number of medicines that can be uses to treat anxiety BUT almost all of them are prescription only meds. you need to visit a psychiatrist to get the prescription. most common include:

- lexapo (SSRI)
- low dose benzodiazepines
- buspirone (azapirones)

alternative to medicines:
Cognitive behaviour therapy(CBT) has shown good results. in earlier cases of anxiety CBT is usually given which later can be combined with medicines.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
