Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
Your situation is understandable.
1. Taking skimmed fat free milk can be a good alternative to the normal milk that is usually taken.
2. Salami is a food containing high level of fat and cholesterol and sincerely speaking not to be taken as a regular food for those having heart disease with stent. At best you can have salami once a month cooked in low oil. Please take half the amount you used to eat earlier.
3. Spices also should be controlled but you can taste small amounts of spicy food and take quantity as given to children.
4. Having meals with small amounts of chutney or pickles can give you good taste.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Please add fibers in diet and avoid processed food
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
It is suggested that you take foods rich in dietary fibers and this will cause better stool formation and reduce chances of constipation. Early in the morning you can have a glass of warm water as you wake up and this can stimulate early morning bowel movements.
Please avoid processed foods and replace items cooked in maida with atta (wheat flour). This has more fiber content. Vegetables and fruits also have high fibers.
You can eat small meals at shorter intervals in place of less frequent large meals. Reduce the amount of oils in your food. Please do not worry.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.
