Suggest Strong Medication For Anxiety
Question: What is the strongest med for anxiety if ativan does not work
Brief Answer:
klonopin can be tried.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concerns.
Benzos are the most potent anti-anxiety drugs.
These drugs have dose equivalence.
(eg. Ativan 2mg=0.5mg klonopin).
Considering these dose equivalents, klonopin is more potent.
If ativan is not working, you can try klonopin (prescription drug).
If the anxiety still persists, you can add neurontin (prescription drug) to klonopin.
Kindly discuss this with your doctor.
Hope this helps.
Feel free to ask further.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
valium is used for anxiety.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Yes valium is used for anxiety.
But as I told you earlier, the benzos have dose equivalence, 2mg ativan would be equivalent to 10mg valium.
You would have to take valium accordingly.
Please note that benzos does carry risk of dependence when taken regularly for long term.
Do keep your doctor informed about use of these drugs.
Hope this helps.
I wish you well.
Thanks.
