Suggest Tests To Detect HIV

Question: I have been tested for igg4 and test result is normal, will it also say I don't have hiv or do I need to do another test for hiv?

Recently I got mild pancreasis due to bile duct obstruction, after putting stunt for 30days bile duct became normal and pancreas recovered automatically. But reason for bile duct obstructuion unknown. So doctor suggested to go for igg4 test. Result is normal and attached image of it. I want to go for HIV test for precautionary. Is that igg4 test is sufficient or do I need to go for other test?

Pre operative HIV test is known as screening test.

Screening test consist of the single antibody test.

If this test comes as a reactive result then we can think of second test.

So in your case you can count yourself as a HIV non reactive person.

Igg4 is for the allergy testing...

Igg4 is for the antibody responsible for allergic response.

It has no relation with the HIV.

So if you want to screen the HIV than you have to go for rapid antibody test for HIV.
