Suggest The Best Brand Of Muscle Relaxant
There is no one better then the other.Using them before bedtime its helpful
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM to post your health query.
I don't know why are you using muscle relaxants for.
First I want to add that short-term use of skeletal muscle relaxants may be considered as adjunctive therapy to analgesics if you have acute pain, but there are insufficient data to use for chronic stable pain. The lack of clear benefit, the well-known side effects affecting the central nervous system, and the potential for dependence suggest that this class of medication should not be recommended for prolonged use.
Available comparative data suggests little difference between nonbenzodiazepine agents. There is some evidence that cyclobenzaprine, methocarbamol, carisoprodol, and tizanidine are more effective than other muscle relaxants.
We generally do not start these medications as initial therapy, as they tend to have sedating side effects that limit patients' ability to work or drive, as you may know yourself since you are using one of them.
Baclofen its a good one. But also depends on how you tolerate it. If not, you can try another one, but you may still have the same side effects.
If you cannot tolerate the sedating effects of muscle relaxants during the daytime, using the muscle relaxants before bedtime may be helpful.
Hope this is helpful.
