Suggest The Ideal Dosage For Metoprolol

Question : I was taking sotalol 80 mg how ever I ran out and discovered I was suppose to be taking 40 mg twice a day. Prior to sotalol I was taking 25mg of metoprolol twice a day. May question is should I go back to metoprolol until Tues when I can get a refill of the sotalol?

My opinion is that you should take Metoprolol 25mg until you will get a refill of sotalol on Tuesday.

In case you will experience tachycardia, arrhythmia or shortness of breath you should go immediately to ER.
