Question: hi i am 36 years old. i am 40 days pregnant.i used mankind mtp kit.today is 4th daybut bleeding had not started.so my question is to wait or repeat the mtp kit

Please do not use these tablets without the guidance of a gynecologist as they have serious side effects. Is your periods regular? 28 day cycle? You need to get a scan done prior to taking these tablets to know whether it is an intrauterine pregnancy and also the period of gestation. Medical method of termination is applicable only for intrauterine pregnancy and gestational age less than 49 days..

In your case may be the kit was not used correctly. So consult a gynaecologist get a scan done and see for products of conception. It there is retained products you may have to go for a repeat dose or undergo a D and C based on your gynaecologist observation. Pregnancy cannot be continued after taking these pills as they have serious adverse effects on the fetus.

i had taken mifepristone at 1.30 pm and then aftet 24 hours taken two pill of misoprostol orally and two more pills after 24 hours. but bleeding doesnt start. so my question is can i take 2 more misoprostol or may be 4.
