Hi, I ve taken the Mifepristone Tablet yesterday at 8am and I was told that I should take the remaining four Misoprostol tablets in one go altogether the next day at the same time, is this correct and the doctor told me it doesn t matter if I eat or not but I keep reading it needs to be taken on empty stomach?
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Mefipristone and misoprostol combination has been well known for causing first trimestre abortion.Four tablets of 200mg mosoprostol at a time no matter food or not may induce an abortion. It is the recommended first trimester abortion dose. However, the chances of succeding if above 12 weeks of pregnancy is lower but is still possible.I will suggest you take the drugs as prescribed by your Doctor and if any funny evolution you see him for evaluation. You may inform your Doctor if you are more than 12 weeks pregnant. Hope this will help Best regards
