Suggest Treatmemt For Neck And Shoulder Pain Caused After An Injury

Question: Hi 3 days ago I was stoped at a red light and out of no where I was rear ended really hard. I been feeling pain in my neck, migraines, shoulder, shoulder blades upper back, middle back, lower back and my right bicep feels really sore and there is a tingling sensation to the right arm down to my hands. For my last but not least question is "please explain to me why am i feeling warm sensation on my spine up and down?" I was seen in ER and the Doctor mentioned that my x ray revealed that there is a part on my spine that is now straight and its suppose to be curved, does this have something to do with my pain all in all or in part. I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar,

After going through your query I concluded that you got injury to your neck,shoulder and lower back due to rear ended hit at red light. You are also having sore biceps and there is tingling in right arm down to your hands. Treatment of it is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Vitamin B and C help in healing.For tingling Mecobalamin is helpful. You can discuss with your Doctor about it.

You want to know why you are feeling warm sensation on your spine.It is because due to injury there's inflammation in injured area which causes feeling of warmth as redness and warmth are signs of it.

Your Doctor mentioned that x ray revealed that your spine is straight (normally spine is curved) . Due to pain your muscles go into spasm.These muscles make the spine straight by tightening it by muscle pull. It's related to pain as pain causes spasms and spasm causes straightening.
