Brief Answer:
Yes, eye exam should be done if your doctor suspects a problem

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Chloroquine ( anti malarial drug ) is contraindicated in patients having retinal or visual field changes. There is possibility of irreversible retinal damage especially in patients receiving long term therapy at high dose. People can over do food restrictions and become malnourished. Diet changes do not affect the progression of either CPPD or LUPUS. Try to practice moderation and variety in food intake.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
