Hello I have read your question. Hemianopia means loss of half of the visual field. Occurs due to nerve damage supplying the eyes. Usually these changes are permanent. In your case peripheral field is lost. Fundus examination,Perimetry and MRI (brain and orbit) is useful. Good luck.
