Crohn"s disease and related complications.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX.
In brief about Crohn's Disease ( CD):
Although CD usually presents as acute or chronic bowel inflammation ( as in your case ) ,the inflammatory process evolves toward one of tow patterns of disease a firbrostenotic-obstructing pattern or a penetrating-fistulous pattern, eac with different treatment and prognoses .The site of disease influence the clinical manifestations .
As you mentioned that there is pulling from your lower belly to vagina and anus .
You are also having cramps lower stomach and leg cramps.
Patients with CD present with low grade fever, malaise , diarrhea, CRAMPY ABDOMINAL PAIN , hematochesia and PERIANAL DISEASE .
Perianal disease affects about one third of patients ( you may have pulling due to perianal disease , a part of CD ) with CD and is manifested by incontinence , large hemorrhoidal tags anal strictures , anorectal fistulae and perirectal abscesses.
Diagnosis can be confirmed by ENDOSCOPIC examination.
So in your case the pulling lower belly into vagina and anus may be due to perianal disease .
While crampy abdominal pain & legs cramps are also due to CD .
Now a day PENTASA is another mesalamine formulation that uses an ethylcellulose coating to allow water absorption into small beads containing the mesalamine .
Some doctors also use glucocorticoids and antibiotics for the perianal disease and abdominal and leg cramps .
In my opinion consult your treating doctor and get his opinion.
Hope this will help you .
Further any question I will reply in follow up.
Good luck.
