Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
Rouvastatin is one of the better medications for high cholesterol and aspirin is very helpful to prevent clots and reduce the chance of heart disease (heart attack, heart failure) and stroke.
In terms of side effects, as with all medications , side effects occur with the minority not the majority.
Most persons using statins, worry about liver disease and muscle injury. Statins can cause muscle pain in approximately 12.7% (12 out of 100) of persons who use them and joint pain in 10.1% .
If this pain occurs (and does not occur in most persons), it stops when the medication is discontinued. This means that even if you do experience pain, it is not permanent
In 0.01% to 0.1% of persons ( 1 out of 1000 to 1 out of 10 000), there can be an increase in liver enzymes, these are bloods used to assess the liver. Again this decreases if the medication is stopped, there is no permanent damage
Abdominal pain, nausea and constipation can occur in 1 to 10% of persons.
It is possible , since effects occur in the minority not the majority, that you may not have any effects at all.
In terms of aspirin, it can sometimes irritate the stomach but using it with food or using enteric coating aspirin would help with this
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
