Brief Answer:
H pylori needs management, no worries

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking!
I am sorry for the troubles of your daughter. The infection of H pylori Gastritis is easily treatable with a simple 10 to 14 days empiric therapy with slight diet and lifestyle modifications. No worries she will be fine.
All your daughter needs is following combined therapies approved by FDA for H Pylori gastritis.
Omeprazole, amoxicillin, and clarithromycin (OAC) for 10 days
Bismuth subsalicylate, metronidazole, and tetracycline (BMT) for 14 days
Lansoprazole, amoxicillin, and clarithromycin (LAC), for either 10 days or 14 days
All the eradication treatments have a high incidence of certain adverse effects (eg, nausea, metallic taste). If skin rash, vomiting, or diarrhea occurs, discontinue treatment.

Other medications used in the management of H pylori infection include the following:

Antidiarrheals (eg, bismuth subsalicylate)
Proton pump inhibitors (eg, lansoprazole, omeprazole)
H2-receptor blockers (eg, ranitidine, famotidine)

Avoid spices, beverages, soda drinks, alcohol, tea, coffee, chocolates, tomatoes, potatoes, NSAIDs or any pain killers unless dire need acetaminophen to be taken, cold milk to be drunk, avoid sweets, eat small meals at frequent intervals and soft foods to be prefered which are easily digestible.
Get her to a gastroenterologist for further management. H pylori is not that big a deal, it will be eradicated with in no time. But the other associated morbidities make it worth monitoring and close observation.Get to a gastroenterologic facility and they will handle the rest.
I hope it helps. Take good care of your daughter and yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
May the odds be ever in your favour.

my daughter has the advice and information you have submitted me, as I informed you...she cannot take ANY nutrition..only chicken broth(home made as she cannot tolerate any chemicals in OTC brands. She is severly dehydrated from diaharria. She has gone days without sleep and her husband, an anesthesiologist has not been able to solve this mysterious case. I feel we are running out of time. Her gastroenterologist has not come up with any relief for her. And with her resectioned bowel from 35/40 years ago, I am concerned that her digestive tract is being stressed to the XXXXXXX Help! Brief Answer:
Intensive care needed

Detailed Answer:
hello Miss carmen!
I appreciate your concern but if the issue of dehydration and bowel resection is the case then the same management can be provided by a parenteral route IV. Just get her to a gastro facility, get her rehydrate and stabilize, monitor her vitals and parenteral nutrition would make it. As i said H pylori is not big a deal, it is associated morbidity and that is why she needs an admission, a central venous pressure line and a consult to a dietitian for a complete dietry plan for her.
Don't worry. They will take care of her.
In nutshell, these medicines need to go in, if not oral, then IV through CVP line which she needs any way.
Take care and get her to an intensive care facility.

Khan
