Suggest Treatment For Levosulpiride-induced Parkinson's Disease
Question: Hello Sir,
I am so thankful that I can ask a doctor only for the issue that my mom is having.
My mom was given Happy El something for antiacidity since 2 years.
She was complaining about the slowness of her movement and her talks and even her tongue is as if unconscious. She bites her tongue often and currently her tongue is black in color. Since 2 days she is complaining of pain near her right ear, as if some nerve is paining. She drags her legs while walking and barely speaks properly. Her speed of working in kitchen and weak.. she has back pain and also in her hand. She can't raise her voice much too.
I would be so grateful if you could help me out of this problem and lead her to the right diagnosis and cure.

Your Mother was taking a Drug Called Levosulpiride, which is a selective antagonist of dopamine D2 receptor. This Drugs can cause Drug Induced Extra Pyramidal Symptoms
So, the Diagnosis for the above symptoms are "Drug induced Extra Pyramidal Symptoms". The Treatment is
1. Stopping Levosulpiride
2. Trihexyphenidyl (Pacitane) which is an anti cholinergic
