Suggest Treatment For PCOS While Trying For Pregnancy
Question: I am 27 years old, married for 3 years. I have PCOS from almost 12 years, right from I got my first period. My ovaries are voluminous : 4,6 * 2.2 (right ) and 4.1 * 2.5 (left) . They resemble just like typical Polysystic ovaries.
Trying for baby from last one year. I have underwent a laproscopy and ovarian drilling. Unforutnately , it didnt help. I am diagnosed with genital tuberculosis, for which I am taking a 9 months course.
My gynae gave me ovulation medicines- GoodOva 100 mg in this cycle.
On 13th day, right follicle measured 17 mm and left 16 mm. On 14th day, right - 18.3 mm and left -17 mm. On 15th day, right -21 mm and left -19 mm. Endometrium is 9 mm.
Follicle is not ruptured yet.
Will it get ruptured or not?If yes, does this process takes time in PCOS?
I am a little scared of getting a TVS done everytime. And till the egg is not released, I have to undergo this process everyday.
Is it a good sign with regard to conception?
Any methods I can try at home to make this process smooth.
Please guide.

Brief Answer:
Follicular growth scan is necessary
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns about infertility.
PCOS women are known to have irregular cycles and hence there is possibility of having irregular ovulation. Follicular growth scan by TVS is best way to identify growth of follicles.
Therefore I suggest you continue TVS. You are likely to have ovulation with the present size follicles. Keep following up with your doctor.
Let me know if you need anymore help.

Hello doctor
Thanks for the reply.
My only concern is : will these follicles rupture or not? Tommorow i am going for the scan again. PCOS doesn't intervene in this process , right?
