Des-loratadine is safer in high dose.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum. I can understand your concern for the quinke's edema in yourself.
In general this type of edema is a severe form of hives or urticaria which requires a proper medical treatment under the guidance of a doctor.
As you have got very minimal form of the same so it can be managed initially by Des-loratadine (claritin) or levocetrizine . It can be taken for two times a day and if required can be increased up to four times a day till you meet a doctor.
We do not generally prefer to give more dose of fexofenadine as it has got up dosing side effects.
I hope these informations will help you.
