Brief Answer:
Currently there is no treatment available but anticonvulsants
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome.
Currently there is no treatment available but anticonvulsant drugs help to control initially seizures. Other supportive treatment includes proper nutrition and hydration and techniques to keep the airway open. Children may finally need a feeding tube. After such care, most children die at age of 4 due to different infections.
