Suggest Treatment For UTI And Blood Tinged Vaginal Discharge
possible cervical erosions...explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
Well UTI and vaginal discharge are 2 different issues here. Blood in urine is understood and reasoned by presence of kidneys stones which can definitely cause red cells in urine and to an extent accompanied cystitis which can also contribute to UTI can be controlled with antibiotics but complete treatment shall be nephrolithotomy or removal of renal stones .
In case of vaginal discharge which is blood tinged, this can be due to cervical erosions , irregular shedding/ breakthrough bleeding during mid cycle or even seen sometime after vaginal abrasions following rough sex. It has nothing to do with monistic which is an anti fungal and shall treat the same.
It is likely that cervical erosions have been the cause and you should get it confirmed from your physician with a per speculum exam and a PAP SMEAR TEST. Also further investigations would require a ultrasound pelvis and a high vaginal swab test as well.
Please get investigated thoroughly and discuss the options with your physician and take an informed decision.
