Posted on Fri, 24 Mar 2017
Question: Hi. Thought I had a UTI and went to the doctor yesterday. Dip came back
normal. Still experiencing constant urging to urinate. Always get a little something
out? Any other suggestions. Just started drinking Cranberry juice Figured it may
help. THANKS. XXXX

As noted in my earlier email, I did a urine test yesterday
and it came back normal...no infection.

also, I do not have any pain...only the urgent need to
pee.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for providing me with more information.

If there is no evidence of infection in your urinalysis then you may continue intake of cranberry to prevent UTI. Please limit intake of coffee and tea because they are known to aggravate urgency also.

Strong spices are also known to cause bladder instability and limiting intake of peppers, spicy curry etc. would certainly help.

I hope I have answered your question. If you've any further queries, feel free to ask.
