Need to do Urine culture .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have UTI and have been prescribed antibiotics and you are worried about the gastric discomfort due to antibiotics.
Please note that it is equally important to treat UTI.
At the outset you have to first get confirmed that you have UTI by doing your routine urine test and urine culture to find out the organisms causing this
infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
In the mean while start taking Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Norfloxacin along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily. You can take H2 receptor antagonist like Pantaprozole to avoid the gastric discomfort that you are worried about.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Ensure to drink more water. To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Take injectable antibiotics for 3-5 days.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up.
Since you can not tolerate medicines given orally your physician has rightly started giving you medicine in injectable form.
The action of injection is faster than the medicines given orally .
You should get cured within 3- 5 days.

Interstitial cystitis needs to be confirmed by biopsy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up.Pain in filling phase of bladder is to due to distention of bladder and is common in presence of infection.
Since you have symptoms since only few days it is unlikely to be interstitial cystitis. It needs biopsy of the bladder to be done to confirm interstitial cystitis.
Thanks and Regards.
