Suggest Treatment For UTI
Urinary tract infection (UTI)
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns. Now it seems that your query was unattended for quite a while, so please allow me to answer it.
You seem to have urinary tract infection (increased frequency of urination, burning sensation, urine color dark). As you are 62 years old some degree of prostatic enlargement and bladder neck obstruction is not unlikely and hence prone to UTI . Please do Urine routine examination, culture and sensitivity test and Ultra-sonography abdomen.
If urine shows pus cells > 5 /hpf,a course of urinary antiseptics (e.g Fluoroquinolone group ) can be started pending culture reports.
Your backache is related to your hedge cutting over long hours and carrying hedge grindings etc. Ibuprofen , a NSAID (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) may have some averse effects on kidney on prolonged use.
Local application of short wave diathermy over small of back and analgesic gel(ibuprofen/diclofenac) application will work .
Orally you can take Tab Paracetamol 500 mg three times a day for 2-3 days +/- Tramadol for pain relief.
