Suggest Treatment For A Bump On The Labia

Question: About 2 weeks ago, I noticed a bit of blood after sex. There was no pain prior to that, or during sex. After looking closely, I noticed the top, left part of my labia minora was swollen and inflamed, a bit of yellow puss, but the next day, the swelling went down significantly, and the next few days it got better, forming into a single red bump (which I thought was a herpes outbreak)..but then it never formed into a sore. That same area seems to now just be an extra flap of skin laying on top of my labia minora lip...its flesh colored, doesn't hurt..but i feel some sensitivity/tenderness (not when touching it, but in general)...the sensitivity/tender sensation seems to be stemming from my clitoris (clitoris seems more sensitive than usual) ..and I can feel the sensation going into my abdomen..what could this be?
Brief Answer:
Can you please upload photos ?
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Can you upload pictures of that area please ?
It is possible that you had a boil down there.
This is basically an infection of the hair follicles / sweat gland.
The boil might have gotten rubbed during sex, and then burst, and healed by itself.
This is the most likely explanation.
I would like to look at the photos of the area, so that we have a better idea.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.

Attached is a picture, hope it can help. It is the small pink lump seen on top of labia. I also want to note I should be getting my period any day now...if it is a boil...will this go away? is there anything I can do to make it heal faster? will I need to worry about it becoming irritated during sex again?
Brief Answer:
Please zoom out and take a few pics.
Detailed Answer:
You have zoomed in too much.
It is from too close to the labia, I cannot see anything clearly.
Please zoom out a bit, and then take pics and upload.

Brief Answer:
Am assuming its a boil
Detailed Answer:
I am so sorry, the resolution is not good at all.
I am seriously not able to view anything clearly in the 3 pics that you have sent so far.
I would really appreciate some more pics.
If you cannot, i assume that it is a boil, and tell you things accordingly.
A boil mostly goes away on its own, 90 % of the time.
Just avoid touching that area, that spreads the infection.
Also, avoid sex till this heals.
Having a period might make things difficult since it will be tougher to keep the area clean.
Use a tampon if you can.
Apply Mupirocin / Bacitracin ointment over the area.
It should be fine in XXXXXXX a week's time.
If it does not get okay, you would have to consult your doctor for oral antibiotic prescription.
Take care.
