Question: I have a red bump on my left shin that looks like a pimple. It itches sometimes . It has been there for over a year. Could it be cancer,

It is usually about the size of a pencil eraser but sometimes gets bigger or smaller

I have reviewed the Image.
This seems most likely, a "Dermatofibroma" which is a benign tumor of fibrous tissue in the dermis. Shin/ lower leg is the classical site for a dermatofibroma.
I suggest an excision biopsy and histopathology for confirmation of the diagnosis.
