Suggest Treatment For A Wound On The Face

Question: I slipped in bathroom & got hurt below right eye. I got a cut through the sharp edge of a stone. There is little swelling around that area.
I have cleaned it with Savlon & applied soframycin & covered it with cotton.
Do I need to do anything more?

You can apply a bandaid and change the ointment to BACTROBAN

Sorry for delayed response as I was busy in my other professional obligations.

From the photo provided and your description, it seems like a minor injury. There does not seem to be requirement for antibiotics.

If you develop fever, or the swelling around injury gets worse or pus develops, then further treatment by a surgeon maybe needed.

Most probably it will heal by its own.
