Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Bloating And Muscle Pain

I am feeling very tired all the time and experience little headacks. For the last 4 to 5 weeks I have been living with stomick bloating and burning sensation and muscle pain at lower portion of my back. I'm also short on breath and need to take a deep breath every 5 minutes or so. Everything else seems regular. I have a good apetite. I just saw a Gastroentorologist who told me it could just be stress or anxiety or a combination of both. I'm worried about this situation. What could be wrong and should I do?
Thank you
CBC and TSH to rule out tiredness cause (and other necessary advises)
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.
If I was your caring doctor, these are the recommendations I would give to you:
-- Take care of having a healthy diet - lots of fruits and vegetables, no junk food, eating at home, drinking plenty of water, avoiding alcohol or smoking- if you do, exercising daily. These will stabilize a lot of your bowel movement, if these are the causes of your bloating.
-- The stomach burning sensation and the lower back pain, can be from stress, but if you cannot handle them, then you can take some medicines to treat them. Stress in one of the causes of gastritis and peptic ulcer. Take PARACETAMOL 650mg 3 times/day after food next 4-5 days for the lower back pain, and Omeprazole 20mg once/day for treating the stomach problems.
-- With exercising you should feel better. It will help you manage stress better, will help with the back pain, and less stress-less stomach pain. So I would suggest to try exercising at least 20 min for 5 times/week.
-- To rule out the causes of being tired I would suggest to do a CBC (complete blood count) and a TSH (determines the thyroid function). Then from their results, I can recommend if you need any treatment or not.
-- The shortness of breath can be from anxiety since you seem to not have other symptoms not related to causing it.
Hope this is helpful and I have helped a bit.
