Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain While Eating In A Child

Question: My 3yr old daughter complains about stomach pain sometimes while eating... and before going to toilet... She sometimes burps n says no pain .. we saw a doc .he suggested Cyclopam drops n bifilac sachets... She was gud after the treatment... But now She s complaining abt the same agn... Her motion s normal... wat shall I do... shall I repeat the drops n sachets... doctor told tat if her motion s green n pain is more we have to start antibiotic... right now m giving her bonison

I've gone through your query and understand your concern for your daughter,

Well, you should be repeating the Cycolpam drops first, bifilac is a probiotic and is not for pain actually, I won't suggest to use it for the time being, unless she's thoroughly examined in the first place..

Let her drink only U.V.R.O purified water and a lot of it to avoid any dehydration..avoid dairy products and high fructose containing beverages..good to know that the motion's of normal consistency..

Let her drink lot of XXXXXXX warm beverages (soups, broths, bournvita etc.)..bonnisan is mainly ayurvedic supplement, so being allopathic practitioner, can't comment on that ..

If despite cyclopam dosage, pain persists, then I'd suggest to take her to the Pediarician for a thorough clinical check-up and few relevant investigations (CBC, ESR, Stool routine microscopy and culture, and/ USG abdomen etc.) to look in to this further.. management will be based on the findings entirely..
