Question: my friend did an open testicular biopsy 20 years ago and found no sperm possibility. what are the advanced treatment found since then

The biopsy done - showed no sperms.
If we can get more details on the cell type - like spermatid were seen or any other cell type we can see if there is any possibility
Also , an idea of the blood hormone levels such as FSH / Total testosterone - if they were done ( ideally done now with 3 months)
This will help us to understand the condition better and offer some treatment

The biopsy was done 15 years ago. But the attached repot is done in January 2014

I will also a urologist / XXXXXXX to asses you at the outset. Plan an ultrasound.
It will advised to do the blood tests to see if there is any possibility to assess your present status.
