Suggest Treatment For Accidental Ingestion Of Mercury By A 2 Year Old
Question: I feel my son (2 years) have swallowed some mercury from a thermometer after taking and breaking it in his mouth. I have immediately washed his mouth. But I don't know whether he have swallowed it or not. What shall I do?

Shortness of breath
Irritability
Cough
shaking tremor
In case if you see any of following symptoms you should immediately take him to emergency room.
Please follow these guidelines
keep him in a well ventilated room.
After proper cleaning and washing his mouth give him plenty of water to maintain good hydration.
Mercury thermometer has been phased out, you should not use it again.
